With the legalization of medical marijuana, we've gotten more than a few questions about how best to incorporate this medicine into a healthy diet versus just smoking or inhaling the plant. We're excited to announce a new journey into culinary medicine, in our Cooking with Cannabis series. You won't be learning how to make yet another "pot brownie" in these classes. We're going teach these classes through the framework of our guiding dietary principles at the Crossroads Teaching Kitchen- whole foods, anti inflammatory, Mediterranean focused! 

In our first ever class, debuting on July 31st, 2018, we'll be collaborating with Greenhouse Wellness, Maryland's premier medical cannabis dispensary. In addition to our culinary instructor and licensed nutritionist, Keri Connell, LDN, we will have the fabulous Dr. Leslie Apgar, co-founder of Greenhouse Wellness at the helm to discuss all things medical. 

While actual THC containing cannabis can not, and will not be served in this class, we will use demo herbs to show you how to infuse anti-inflammatory oils for use in an array of recipes to support pain management and healing. By the end of this 2 hour intro class, you will learn the basics of how to infuse medical marijuana into the right oils; how to dose correctly and effectively; how to preserve your infusions; and how to incorporate this medicine into healthy dishes.
